REPELLING SPIDERS AND FLYING INSECTS WITH THE TRANSONIC PRO
| Control: | Setting: |
| SOUND PATTERN: | B |
| SOUND FREQUENCY: | QUIET |
Unlike more advanced animal forms with complex hearing organs, insects and spiders respond to sonic and ultrasonic soundwaves through antennae, wings, body hairs and rudimentry eardrums. These mechanical vibrations trigger neural impulses to cause behavioural modification. This affects food consumption, reproduction, communication and other biological factors. Pests eventually leave because of the abnormal environment they are exposed to.
Flying insects are seasonal pests both indoors and out. Exposure to TRANSONIC results in a confused, mesmerised condition sometimes within 15 minutes, but usually within 1 - 2 hours. In some cases, death will occur. Where no obvious escape route is available they will head for light differentiation areas (windows and screens). If insects are not removed or exterminated at this point, they will die of dehydration within a short period of time.
There are countless species of spiders. TRANSONIC works best against webspinning spiders as the ultrasonic sound waves appear to confuse them and they become unable to determine if prey has been caught in their web.
Alternating sound patterns between switch positions A, B and C may increase the number and type of spiders that can be repelled.
